Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Ravedio website, mobile application, or hardware node, you agree to these terms. Ravedio is intended for users aged 18 and older in the United States. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our products or services.
2. Products
Ravedio nodes are communication devices designed for off-grid use at festivals, events, and other environments without cell service. Shipping times, launch timelines, and availability dates are estimates, not guarantees. Product specifications, features, and availability may change as development continues.
3. Messaging and Privacy Expectations
Ravedio supports both encrypted and plaintext messaging paths. Private channels and known-contact direct messages are encrypted on-device. Open DMs (intro messages) are plaintext by design until users exchange keys. You are responsible for using the appropriate messaging mode for your privacy needs and for understanding that plaintext intro messages should not be treated as confidential.
4. Acceptable Use and Radio Compliance
You agree not to use Ravedio hardware or software to transmit illegal content, harass others, interfere with radio services, or abuse the network. You are responsible for operating your device in accordance with local radio, spectrum, and import regulations.
5. Firmware, Software, and Services
Firmware, the mobile app, and browser-based tools (including the firmware flasher) are provided on an as-is basis. We work to ship stable software, but updates, beta features, and device or browser differences may cause bugs, interruptions, or data loss.
6. Safety and Limitation of Liability
Ravedio is a communication tool, not a safety device. Do not rely on mesh communication for emergency situations. We are not liable for message delivery failures, hardware damage from misuse, or any consequential damages arising from use of our products or services.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of Ravedio after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
